For our Baby Hand & Footprint Workshop only, you can take advantage of this special offer until the end of October: Create three personal ceramic keepsakes with your baby’s hand and footprints, and pay for only two ceramic pieces. The offer applies to three identical pieces or three pieces from the same category, painted by the same person. The offer applies to the pieces selected in the studio.

Time flies when you have little ones – preserve these special moments with your baby’s hand and footprints on our ceramic pieces. In this relaxed morning workshop, you’ll create a personal keepsake that you can treasure for years to come.

If your baby is still happy and settled, you’re welcome to stay a little longer to finish your piece at your own pace.

What You’ll Do
At the beginning of the workshop, you’ll choose your ceramic piece in the studio and pay for it on site. You can choose from our full range of ceramic pieces.

After a short introduction to colours and different printing techniques, you can work at your own pace in a relaxed atmosphere. Studio time, tools, unlimited colours and firing are all included.

How It Works
During the workshop, you’ll focus on creating your baby’s hand and footprints on your chosen ceramic pieces. After your visit, we’ll glaze and fire your pieces at 1010°C.

Your finished keepsakes will be ready for collection at the studio approximately one week later.

Good to Know
Your online booking reserves your spot in the workshop. You’ll choose your ceramic piece(s) when you arrive and pay for them separately at the studio.

FAQ:

Can the colors be applied directly to the skin?

Yes, this is easily done using a sponge. The colors are safe for hands or feet, but they are not meant to be ingested and should not be put in the mouth.

Is there a changing table in the studio?

Currently, we do not have a changing table in the studio.

How can I reschedule my appointment?

You can reschedule or cancel your appointment via the button "Reschedule, cancel or request a refund" in the course confirmation email. If you are unable to attend, we kindly ask you to change your booking as early as possible so that others have the opportunity to take your spot. Please note our rescheduling and cancellation policy for ceramic painting bookings.

What if I can‘t attend my appointment?

In the case of a possible rescheduling or cancellation, you will find the corresponding instructions under the first question “How can I reschedule my appointment?”

Important: Rescheduling requests via email, phone, or in person cannot be accepted and are therefore invalid.

Do I need prior experience to paint ceramics with you?

No, that is not necessary. At the beginning of your session, we will give you a short introduction to the colors and their application, as well as to stamping footprints and handprints. After that, you can let your creativity run free.

How can I book a slot?

All slots can only be booked online, directly via our website. The calendar shows you on which days how many spots are available for booking. Choose your preferred day and the respective number of participants and click on “Book Now”. This will add the booking to your cart, and in the next step you can complete the payment process.

How do I book a slot if I have a gift card?

The code can be entered during checkout after adding a booking and is also valid for both locations. If you have multiple voucher codes, you can enter and redeem them one after another.

Please note that the gift card can only be redeemed online for paid bookings, and we cannot refund the advance payment on-site afterward.

What should I bring to the session?

A portion of good mood :) We have everything else in our studio!
To protect your clothing, we have aprons available on-site. If some paint still gets on your clothes, don’t worry, it can easily be washed out. Feet and hands can also be easily washed at our sink.

When can I pick up my finished pieces & what happens if I forget them?

Your painted ceramics will be ready for pickup 8 days after your visit. If you cannot come in person to pick them up, the person collecting them must be able to show a photo of your pieces.

Your painted ceramic pieces will remain on the pickup shelf for up to one month after your visit, after which they will be sorted into boxes due to space constraints. Until that time, we are responsible for the completeness and condition of the pieces; after that, we can no longer guarantee this.

Every year before Christmas, we donate all remaining pieces that have stayed with us for more than a year to "Aktion Leben". Since we started doing this 2 years ago, we know that there are people there who truly appreciate handmade ceramics for personal use or as gifts. The pieces find new loving homes. :)

Can my pieces be shipped to my home?

We are happy to send your masterpieces by post, no matter where you are in the EU. Deliveries outside the EU are not possible. Fees of the Austrian Post:

* Shipping within Austria (1–3 pieces*): €7.17
* Shipping to Germany (1–3 pieces*): €17.35
* Shipping within the EU (1–3 pieces*): €21.00

Additionally, packaging & service costs of €9.50 apply per package, as we pack each piece by hand and personally bring it to the post office to ensure it arrives safely :)

* medium-sized pieces such as mugs, bowls, plates, small vases. Large pieces such as vases, jugs, etc. are counted as 2 medium-sized pieces.

Can my pieces go in the dishwasher?

Ceramic painting pieces are made of earthenware and are fired at 1040°C. They are dishwasher-safe, but very fine hairline cracks may appear in the glaze over time. The pieces are not microwave-safe.

I'm not happy with how the glaze turned out on my piece. Is it possible to reglaze it, or receive a refund or reimbursement?

We understand that glaze results can sometimes be surprising, but reglazing high-temperature fired pieces is not possible, and we do not offer reglazing or deglazing services.

Glazing in pottery is an inherently variable process and cannot be fully controlled or replicated exactly. Even when the same glaze, clay body, and firing schedule are used, the final outcome can differ from piece to piece. Many factors influence the result, including kiln placement, temperature fluctuations during firing, glaze thickness, how the glaze interacts with the clay, and the overall kiln atmosphere. These variables are a natural part of working with handmade ceramics.

Because of this unpredictability, glaze appearance is not considered a defect. For this reason, we do not offer refunds, reimbursements or remakes based on glaze results or personal preference.
