Fresh Ceramics wants to spend the wintertime with you and that’s why we’re now offering a winter edition of our popular Wine&Clay modelling course – come over to Punch&Clay now!

Throughout the winter season, we are offering you the opportunity to get to know clay, learn modelling techniques, and enjoy homemade punch. What’s more, the course lasts longer than our regular modelling courses and you also have more clay for your ceramics. All this is already included in the price.

What you will do

In this course, you will perfect your very own ceramic creation under the guidance of our experienced ceramists. It’s fun, sociable and everyone makes something! We’ll focus on form and texture to make your vessel – be it a vase, flower pot, mug or something only you know! During the class, we’ll cover the basic steps of building technique that anyone who wants to start modelling needs. This course includes 2-3 finished masterpieces that we will fire for you at 960° C and then professionally glaze with transparent glaze (and then fire again at 1200° C) so that you can pick it up about 2-3 weeks later. Yes, it is functional – you can eat and drink from it and it is dishwasher and microwave safe.

All materials, instructions, a fully functional masterpiece and a few cups of punch are included in the price. For those who don’t drink punch, we have also prepared wine or non-alcoholic drinks.
