Let’s clay together!
We cordially invite all those who enjoy hand modeling in good company to visit us on Saturday evenings in our beautiful studio in Neubau. In addition to an introduction to the basics of clay modeling, we also provide colorful underglazes (final glazes) for painting your ceramics, stoneware clay, the necessary tools and, of course, good wine to ensure a great and exuberant atmosphere.

+ What you will do
In this 2.5-hour workshop, you will perfect your own ceramic creation under the guidance of our experienced ceramists. It’s fun, cozy and everyone makes something! We will learn the basic techniques of hand modeling while making a fully functional piece of tableware. In this course, you will not only work on the shape of your ceramic piece, but also try out the engobes – the special underglaze color that you can apply directly to the raw clay. This gives you endless possibilities to make your masterpiece the most beautiful: small flowers, hearts or perhaps stripes… you can realize your own ideas or be inspired by ours!
This course includes a finished piece, which is raw-fired by us and then professionally glazed with transparent glaze before being high-fired again. About 2-3 weeks later, it will be ready for you to pick up.
Yes, it’s functional – you can eat and drink from it and it’s also dishwasher and microwave safe.
