Our new Spin&Glaze Family Edition is the perfect first step for kids aged 8 to 14 and their parents to enter the world of throwing ceramics. You will spend 2 hours throwing your first ceramic pieces and a week later another 2 hours glazing them.

+ What you will do
What will the pieces look like? That’s up to you, but they’re usually small cups, vases, bowls or flower pots made from high-quality clay. We only use stoneware clay in all our classes to ensure that your pieces are durable and functional and have a long, happy life :). This course includes 2 finished pieces. Each additional piece costs €12 extra if you want to keep it and work with glazes.

In our calendar you can see the start dates of the course. Click on the corresponding date and you will see a schedule for the entire course

1st day: Pottery on the turntable – 2 hours. You will learn how to produce your first pottery on the turntable.
Between these days, your works will be dried and fired in the kiln at 960C°.

2nd day: Glazing – one week later – 2 hours. You will learn how to glaze your pieces.
After this day, your ceramics will be fired in the kiln at 1200C°.
(!) The glazing session can be postponed to any date of the glazing workshop – you have 1 month to come back and finish your pieces!

What happens if you are the only person who has booked a particular course?
If that is the case, we will simply convert your course into a private session in which you will do the first hour of pottery/habd modeling together with an instructor. After that, you will have another 1.5 hours to practice independently. The glaze appointment is scheduled for one week later, when you will learn the technique of glazing in another two-hour session.

If there are only two of you attending the course, you will spend 1.5 hours with the course instructor and then you will have another hour to work independently.

+ How do I book?
The ticket price is per person. Children up to the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Both the adult and the child need their own ticket.
